Puls & Pause
First floor · Brand and design

Brands people recognise.

A logo with an idea, colours with a system, an animation that sticks. We designed Puls & Pause and Ligaroo ourselves and do the same for your company, club or project.

What we design

MARKLogo and wordmarkA mark with an idea that works as well on a phone as on a jersey. As vectors, in every variant.
SYSTEMColours and typeA palette with checked contrast and typefaces that may be self-hosted.
MOTIONAnimationA logo that draws itself, transitions with character. Light and fast, no video file.
IMAGERYImageryYour own image style, AI-assisted if you like and openly labelled. No stock photos everyone else has.

Two brands from our workshop

Puls & Pause

The idea: a pulse line spikes and turns into a pause symbol. Effort and recovery in one mark, exactly what we stand for. Coral for the pulse, mint for the pause, and a house as the home page you click through.

ligaroo

Ligaroo

The idea: a sports league that sounds like fun, not like a gym. A round, friendly wordmark with a coloured O, bold orange and rankings that feel like match day. Website, app and social media speak the same language.

How your brand comes together

  1. STEP 1

    Workshop

Who are you, for whom, what sets you apart? Two hours, by video or in person.

  2. STEP 2

    Two to three directions

Real drafts, shown in use: on a phone, a sign, a jersey.

  3. STEP 3

    Refine

One direction, two rounds of changes, until it fits.

  4. STEP 4

    Brand manual

All the rules on a few pages, so it looks the same everywhere.

  5. STEP 5

    Handover

All files, source files and the usage rights in writing.

Logo and brand FAQ

What does a logo cost?
With us from €900 net for logo and wordmark with all files and usage rights. On the German market freelancers charge around €500 to €3,500, agencies usually start at €1,500. A complete corporate design often costs €8,000 to €15,000 at agencies.
How long until the logo is finished?
Usually three to five weeks: workshop, two to three directions, refinement and handover. We put the exact date in the quote.
Can I protect a logo from an AI generator?
Usually not under copyright. In 2025 the Munich Local Court ruled that a logo created only by prompting an AI is not a copyright-protected work (142 C 9786/25). It can still be registered as a trademark if it is distinctive. We use AI for sketches at most; we design the final logo ourselves.
How do I protect my brand?
By registering it with the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA). Online it costs €290 for up to three classes of goods and services, €100 for each further class. A search for similar marks beforehand is worth it. We prepare the documents; legal review is done by a lawyer or yourself.
Do I need to patent my logo?
No. Patents protect technical inventions. You protect a logo as a trademark, and copyright arises automatically for an original design.
Do I own all rights to the logo?
Yes. Under German copyright law (§ 31(5) UrhG) you only get the rights written in the contract. So we state explicitly: exclusive usage rights unlimited in time, territory and content after full payment, including the source files.
What is a brand manual?
A short document with all the rules: logo variants, clear space, colours with colour values, typefaces, imagery and examples. That way your identity looks the same everywhere, even when other agencies or printers work with it.
Do AI images have to be labelled?
From 2 August 2026 the EU AI Act (Art. 50) requires transparency for AI-generated content, especially realistic images, videos and voices. We label AI images openly and never use them to fake real people or events.
