Portals and apps people actually use.

Customer portal, internal admin, dashboard or app: we build software that fits your process instead of bending your process to standard software. Proven with the Ligaroo app and its founder cockpit: sign-in by email code, roles and access rights, two-factor sign-in, analytics and finances. Web apps from €7,500 net.

Web app or store app?

Web app (PWA)
  • one code base for all devices
  • no store review, no store commission
  • updates instantly for everyone
  • faster and cheaper
  • Limits: push on iPhone only from the home screen, less access to sensors
Store app
  • reliable push notifications
  • full access to camera, sensors, health data
  • discoverable in the App Store and Google Play
  • Limits: store review, fees, longer development

Our approach: one code base that runs in the browser and as a store app. You launch quickly with the web app and later go into the stores without a rebuild.

Case study: the Ligaroo app

SIGN-INNo passwordSign-in by email code. Fewer hurdles, no forgotten passwords.
FAIRNESSPhoto check-inThe photo is resized and stripped of location data in the browser before upload.
RANKINGSBy age group, duo, clubPoints by an open formula, calculated live in the database.
SECURITYData in FrankfurtAccess rules directly in the database, an admin cockpit with two-factor sign-in, only group figures in analytics.

Start small, think big

  1. PHASE 1

    The core

The one feature that brings the most value, built properly.

  2. PHASE 2

    Real users

    Go live early, measure, listen.

  3. PHASE 3

    Expand

What’s needed gets added. What isn’t used goes.

  4. PHASE 4

    Into the stores

From the same code, when it pays off.

App development FAQ

What does a web app cost?
With us from €7,500 net, for example for sign-up, database and one custom core feature. For comparison: agencies often quote €18,000 to €45,000 for progressive web apps, and much more for native apps.
Web app or store app?
A web app runs in the browser on every device, can be added to the home screen and updates instantly, without store review or store commission. A store app is worth it when push notifications, camera, sensors or store visibility are central. Often the best path: web app first, then the store app from the same code.
Do push notifications work on the iPhone?
For web apps only since iOS 16.4 and only when the app is on the home screen. If you need reliable push, plan the store app from the start. We test it for your case before promising it.
Where is my data stored?
In data centres in the EU, for Ligaroo for example in Frankfurt am Main. There are data processing agreements with all providers.
How long until the first version?
A web app is usually ready in eight to twelve weeks. We start with the core that brings the most value and then expand.
Who owns the code?
You do, after full payment, with all usage rights.
What does it cost to run?
Usually a low double- to triple-digit amount per month for server and database, depending on usage. A store app adds 99 US dollars a year at Apple and a one-off 25 US dollars at Google.
Can the web app go into the stores later?
Yes, if it’s built for that from the start. That’s how the Ligaroo app is built: one code base for browser, iPhone and Android.
